Despite not getting down to my 2 day mini goal of 280, I think some serious strides were made. I mean to lose 4 pounds in 2 days is quite the feat, even considering the fact that an already large person loses weight quickly in the beginning. 2 weeks in I have already lost 12.6 pounds, and am well on pace to conquer my goal. This update has motivated me beyond words.

The only solace I can take in the lack of lost weight this update is the fact that I didn't gain anything either. Another good thing is that I have been running farther and faster, lifting bigger weights, and my stamina has increased twofold. Unfortunately the weekend has historically killed me, but its back on track starting today. The goal is to be 280 by Wednesday.

I set out on this journey to make myself feel better. So far, one week in, I have made some amazing strides. I might not look different quite yet, but it's getting there. With 42 days left until my goal date, I'm amping up the workouts. I'm already seeing the gains in strength and endurance, and as the pounds keep dropping, so will the fat. Keep burning my friends.

A few losses at the time of this post, but the massive gain that I had in the last one was expected to be put aside (especially after a weekend of debauchery). I've also been lifting so that doesn't help. Nonetheless I just had a fantastic work out, and will tackle the day from there. Anticipating 285 by the time of my next post. Stay tuned!

Immediate gains are showing, but this is to be expected when introducing a brand new diet and workout plan. As much as I would love a 5 pound drop every 2 days, that's not likely to happen unless I starve myself. So I'll take this little victory for now, and continue to work hard.

The only goal that I have put on myself is to look better. My first challenge will be losing 30 pounds in 49 days (How long until I go on vacation to Chicago, IL). Not an easy feat, but one that I can (and have) accomplish.
